Currently the United States is more productive and more efficient than any other country in the world, and we want to keep it that way. With 6% of the world’s population, we produce 25% of the world’s output. We do it with 23% of the world’s energy.

We must engage the next generation of workers, helping them to understand the benefits of manufacturing careers. Otherwise, America’s manufacturing dominance is in jeopardy—along with the prosperity and high standard of living that we have created for ourselves through more than a century of ingenuity and productivity.
